the BOMB project is an amorphous, unpredictable, dynamic work of web art created by me, corey.eiseman. the images displayed are all bits and pieces of digital collage and manipulation, and they are all made using nothing but photographs from news websites as source material. The first twenty or so I did sometime at the end of 1998, during a short while that the united states was bombing iraq. now it is coming up on a year later, and at least one more country has been bombed for a much longer while, and i've added more and more when i can. (i recently uploaded the 100th image.) there is an endless barrage of imagery coming at us at all times, and the BOMB project is my way of vomiting it back out.

using javascript, the digital images are selected at random from the total image pool. every time a viewer goes to any of these pages, the browser selects an arbitrary juxtaposition based on several different layouts. one can click on any image to continue to another selection, or sit back and watch it cycle endlessly on its own. the overall result is meant to be a work of art that is completely dynamic, constantly growing and changing, and perpetually random.

viva la revolucion.
